Job description
Noel Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee operations at a busy airport canteen. This role requires a strong leader with a passion for hospitality and high standards of service.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the canteen to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Manage front-of-house activities, including greeting customers, taking orders, and handling complaints.
Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Set up and manage tills, ensuring accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating staff members.
Supervise and mentor a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety and hygiene standards.
Qualification:
Minimum of supervisory experience in a hospitality or food service environment.
Strong background in service and front-of-house operations.
Full driver license and access to your own vehicle.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle varying schedules.
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work early mornings and late evenings.
